48 Hour Odyssey is bassist Enrico Galetta's first solo album. A great mix of high energy and groovy instrumental music, it was produced by Adam Nitti, and features performances from Marcus Finnie, Michael Whittaker, Adam Nitti, Rod McGaha, Jonathan Jackson, Bill Hart, and more. Enrico Galetta, bass player, composer and music teacher, was born in Italy but currently shares his time between Atlanta and Bologna. His musical background has brought him to work, both in Italy and the States, with artists such as Bill Hart, Adam Nitti, Rod McGaha, Marcus Finnie, Michael Whittaker, Jonathan Jackson, Randy Hoexter, Tom Knight and many more. A versatile musician, he is also active in the teaching field, collaborating with important didactic structures like the Atlanta Institute of Music. Furthermore, he has played at many international music events such as the Jacksonville Jazz Festival, the Euro Bass Day, Musikmesse, Disma and Sound Expo. As a composer, his debut solo album 48 Hour Odyssey, produced by Adam Nitti, is rich with jazz, funk, and fusion sounds.
