Many of the tunes on John E's A Different Life were in his head 20 years ago, but he started recording this CD in July of 2005. His purpose was and is to communicate with people that could get touched by this music. In other words, to share his way of thinking and feeling about everything. John E's playing was influenced by
George Benson, Dave Grusin, Lyle Mays and Pat Metheny. John adds, "I think when I was making each one of these songs I had strong emotional feelings about daily life and everything that comes with it - hope, failure, the sky, the wind, the whisper of leaves, the rain that sometimes you think that is cleaning you inside, the good and the bad relations between people, the need for something better, sickness, the lies, the truth and much more..."
All tracks were recorded in a health food store as he was selling tomatoes, cheese and wine. The target audience for A Different Life is anyone that can listen to this music with a free mind. Instrumental Guitar (Acoustic/Smooth Jazz/World), total running time, 79:07
