Daikaiju is an instrumental surf/rock/spy/mayhem quartet, who may or may not be from Japan, who may or may not be super heroes with secret identities hidden behind Oriental masks. Check out the aliases - Secret Asian Man, Dymaxion Lee, Brain Conflict and Mr. Nein. Tracks such as the eight-minute plus "Farewell To Monster Island" advance a blend of surf, ska and reggae that must be experienced. The spy genre is explored more fully on tracks such as "The Daikaiju Who Loved Me" and "Incognito", while "Daikaiju Die!" melds Godzilla-like energy with aggressive surf. As reviewer DJ Johnson noted, "This is a band with power to spare, a vortex of reverb-coated sound with an irresistable diving board." Instrumental Guitar (Electric/Surf/Rock), total running time, 38:45 - Daikaiju @ iTunes!
