Face it, Adam Nitti can play bass better than you can. Check out his second solo record "Balance", and for further evidence, listen to his bass work on the appropriately titled Evidence. Filled with excellent material and featuring a number of killer solos by guitarist Shane Theriot, the CD holds a lot for fans of both bass and guitar. Nitti has been described as a technical monster, and you won't find a better proof of that than on cuts such as "The Divine Wind" (featuring flute work by sax man Sam Skelton) and "Nine-Eleven", in which he must share the spotlight with an inspired Theriot. Fusion fans looking not just for bass-led projects, but for great, dynamic music need to listen to Evidence - another Nitti masterwork.
