Berklee Associate Professor of Guitar Julien Kasper has had extensive club and concert appearances in the U.S. and abroad and is also a guitarist with Audioquest recording artists The Bruce Katz Band. His 2003 psychedelic roots fusion release is entitled Flipping Time, and features eleven instrumentals powered by Kasper's otherworldly Strat, along with performances by bassists Marty Ballou and Ed Spargo, drummers Marty Richards and Zac Casher and organists Matt Jenson and Katz himself. Kasper's "harmonically aware" blues/rock guitar style stems from extensive performance experience in jazz, rock, and blues. In addition to Katz, Kasper has worked with Mighty Sam McClain, Joe Harley, Michael C. Ross, Ralph Rosen, Tim Ingles, Ted Decola, Ken Wenzel and Joe Casano, among others.
