Inner Voice offers a compelling collection of original fusion tracks, which feature guitarist Stuart Hart along with many other standout performers, including guitarist Paul Bollenback, drummer Dennis Chambers, drummer Mark St. Pierre, and saxophone players Tony Liberto and Gary Thomas, to name but a few. Hart has a soul-stirring feel to his playing and gets plenty of opportunities to cut loose (check out the extended solo passages in "Running Out Of Words" and "Right From The Right" for example). Fans who enjoy the interplay between the guitar and saxophone will enjoy the arrangements in tracks such as "Ernie's Over" and "First Impressions", as Hart and Thomas twist and turn through one melodic line after another.
