French guitarist Patrick Rondat's Just For Fun was originally released back in 1989, and was Patrick's incendiary debut album. For many years this seminal CD has been deleted and unavailable even in the second-hand market. Demand from his many rabid fans - many of whom were very young at the time of the original release - has been high. Thus, for the re-release, the sound has been re-mastered and is better than the original. A new, more informative booklet was put together, including liner notes written by Patrick (in French, translation available on Rondat's web site), along with new 'old' pictures. Also included are some guitar exercises (in French, two bonus tracks ("Life Force" and "French Message") from the original demo tape, and a CD-ROM track, taken from Patrick's instructional video. Melody, composition, harmony, technique - it's all here in Rondat's debut.
