Morrocan Roll was the second release from this truly original jazz-rock group, which was formed when Atomic Rooster guitarist John Goodsall hooked up with Genesis drummer Phil Collins to record music distinctly different from their main bands. The CD contains only one vocal track, "Sun In The Night", a first for Brand X, but it fits the fusion mood with Collins' weird vocal treatment and Sanskrit lyrics. Overall, Morrocan Roll offers superb muscianship, fiery, furious guitar courtesy of Goodsall, and a tripped-out spacy fusion feel. A great introduction to Brand X. Instrumental Guitar (Electric/Fusion/Rock), total running time, 49:36 - Brand X @ iTunes!
In your opinion, which guitarist has a similar style or sound as John Goodsall?
