Albert proves himself to be not only a fine guitarist, but also an interesting composer of some excellent smooth jazz tunes. The opening track, "For My Friends", is a medium paced groove with the emphasis on melody. The title track has a more Latin feel with strong melodic content and some fine soloing from guitar keyboards and sax. The pace slows right down for the romantic "Selah" and stays there for the moody "Insights". A fine group of musicians who show that they can play in the most appropriate manner for each number, be it slow, fast, Latin or funky. Beautifully recorded, with good clarity.
