Ronu Shamayim! (Rejoice, O Heavens!) is an instrumental guitar collection of Israeli praise music recorded by guitarist Michael Nissim. This collection also contains some well known and beloved hymns. Nissim was born in 1977, raised by Messianic Jewish parents and gave his heart to Yeshua (Jesus) at the age of eleven. The grueling demands of serving in the Israeli army caused Michael to throw himself on God's mercy in a deeper way and choose to follow the Lord in a more whole-hearted fashion. This decision gradually led him away from his love of secular music and towards songs of praise, ranging from modern Hebrew Messianic worship songs to well-known hymns. Since childhood, Michael was given lessons on a variety of musical instruments, but from the first moment he picked up a guitar he knew he had found the instrument he would play with a passion. The arrangements on his recent release, Ronu Shamayim! have been a part of Michael's private worship life over a period of many years. Fortunately, he has now made them available to us all.
