An overwhelming majority of all proposed sponorships will be accepted. With that in mind, there are a couple of straightforward guidelines to help potential sponsors determine what might not be acceptable messages.
It might help to realize our site attracts guitarists, music fans and students from age 8 to age 88. When composing your sponsorship message, if you'd have no problem with your sister's 8-year-old daughter reading the message, or viewing the page linked to by the sponsorship, you are on the right track.
All potential sponsorships are reviewed prior to posting on the site and we reserve the right to reject any entry, for any reason, and Guitar Nine Records will work with you to compose a suitable entry, or refund your money if a compromise cannot be reached.
You may not link to offensive or pornographic web sites, nor use profanity in your message text.
You may not use the name of a company that you are not a representative of, nor libel or slander another individual. You also may not imply a commercial tie-in between yourself and a company unless an actual business arragement has been reached.
The world at large does not have to necessarily agree with your sponsorship message, but it must be clear who is making the statement, and you can't speak for other people or companies.
Guitar Nine Records makes the final decision as to what is and is not an allowable sponsorship message on the site.
