The German trio of guitarist Joachim Schutte, bassist Karsten Fernau and drummer Dirk Erchinger are known as L.A. Sux, and their debut CD is entitled Time Never Stops. Their ambivalent relationship to Los Angeles and it's contrasts are reflected in the unmistakable compositional and guitar style of Schutte, and also by the fat bass lines of Fernau. Schutte and Fernau are graduates of Hollywood's Musicians Institute, and their music reflects varied influences, but maintains an overdriven rock fusion presence throughout the thirteen tracks.
