Combining a keen improvisational sense with a bevy of energetic fusion, rock and jazz licks is Greek guitarist Yannis Raptis on his debut CD release entitled Trip. Raptis wrote six original compositions for the album, and closes the record with "Jam", a short jam session with Chris Stasinopoulos (drums), George Phillipidis (bass) and Raptis (guitar). Whether on rhythm guitar, keyboards, guitar synth, or kicking in the overdrive and playing knuckle-busting, intricate solos, Raptis' compositions all carry his unique musical stamp.
