Unattended Battlefield could be considered the companion disc to WenLin's "A Fascinating Journey", almost as if a double CD was released as two different releases. Recorded in the same fashion, in the same studio, and with the the same vibe (the guitar solos perhaps being a bit more shredded here), WenLin combines the "balls" of the '90s with a futuristic, Eastern approach. Heavy, and sometimes eccentric, Unattended Battlefield is a sneak peak (or listen) into the studios of the modern Chinese guitarist. The liner notes are almost completely in Chinese, so information is scarce, but you can amaze your friends with your own spin on what's happening on this nearly all instrumental release.
