Pawn Kings Live, featuring the explosive blues/rock guitar of Andy Timmons, captures the group live at the Blue Cat Blues in Texas in August of 1998 - just one of the 290+ shows played on their regular Wednesday night gig. The result was four guys playing together for the right reasons... to make great music without preconceptions. The band wrote many orriginals, but this CD features many of their great covers - from "Black Magic Woman" to the Beatles "Come Together", from Gary Moore's instrumental "The Loner" to James Brown's "I Feel Good", and from "Sweet Home Chicago" to the Barry Gordy classic "Money". All feature the incredible axework and nimble soloing skills of Andy Timmons - hotter than hot!
