Start Packin' is the debut CD release from Laramie, Wyoming based Blinddog Smokin, and features the #1 touring blues band from the Rocky Mountain region on fourteen tracks of fun blues music with a great groove. Guitarist Jason "Twelve Fingers" Coomes, a former student of Fourth Estate guitarist Dave Beegle, cranks dozens of smokey, incendiary solos over the material, which ranges from upbeat shuffles to cool, midtempo numbers. Band members include "Chicago" Chuck Gullens (drums), Carl "Big Guns" Gustafson (vocals, harmonica) and Andy "Maddog" Miller (bass).
