Hands-On is New Jersey area guitarist Bob Ernst's 4 song, 13 minute rock EP, featuring a modern blend of hard rock, blues rock, dynamic arrangements and exotic textures. The title track, featuring drummer Roger Cardillo, grooves down late '60s-era hard rock territory, with distorted tones and a pulsing beat. The remaining three tracks feature programmed drum tracks, with "Beggar's Delight" offering aggressive wah-wah choruses, "Desert Flower" taking the intensity down a few notches with an improvised intimate piece, and "Tex-Mess" representing the rousing closer - a high-intensity, wah-wah inflicted blusey track.
