Teaming with drummer/percussionist Mike Denhertog and keyboard player Anton Pukshansky, California guitarist Bob Savage delivers eleven savagely hard instrumental tunes on his debut CD, Retrofitted. Delving into bits of metal and arena rock with a highly overdriven lead sound, Savage rips out technically advanced solos over the exotic ("Zion"), the driving ("Hip Out (WYLO)"), the zoological ("Elephant Tank"), the dissonantly metallic ("Super Hero"), the wistful ("December"), and the blackly sabbath ("Creepy").
