Turkish guitarist Cem Koksal is a fresh breath in the music world with his first album, Set Me Free!! - which could just as easily be considered breathtaking. A neo-classical guitar virtuoso with a strong sound, Koksal offers thousands of flowing notes and powerful melodies with a Baroque influence - ballads, classical arrangements and violin concertos breaking the limitations of a rock album and breaking the barriers of guitar technique. Joined by the very capable Murat Ilkan on vocals and Aykan Ilkan on drums, Koksal produced, engineered, mixed and mastered the CD himself, "In order to achieve what I really want." He also was going for a 'live' sound, and believes he has succeeded. Instrumental tracks include "Earthquake Part !", "Ruthless" and the keyboard tracks, "Blood On Blood - Intro" and "Violin Concerto No. 1 In Db Minor".
