Clark Pauken Ricketts (CPR) rocks out with their 2007 CD, Reactivated, a pretty cool, audiophile quality, melodic instrumental rock guitar with an occaisional divergence into mellow and twang. Taking a page from Col. Sanders, guitarist Michael D. Ricketts used his secret eleven herbs and spices (recording techniques) to track his guitar parts, motivated by albums such as Aerosmith's "Get Your Wings", Styx's "Grand
Illusion", Journey's "Infinity", the Led Zeppelin records, anything that Karen Carpenter ever
sang, and the records produced by Roy Thomas Baker and Mutt Lange. Musicians and guitar players will find a lot of common ground on Reactivated, but the hooks and melodys are catchy and will appeal to even more music fans. Ricketts is joined by Jeff Clark (drums) and Molly Pauken (bass). For music without compromises, check out Reactivated.
