Modern Rock Guitar Vol. III

Modern Rock Guitar Vol. III is the third CD release from solo electric guitarist Denis Taaffe. Continuing in his experimental improvised solo electric guitar style, this all instrumental release includes 11 live studio recordings that feature Taaffe using regular guitar, guitar loops done on the fly, as well as drum programs to create a truly unique multi-layered guitar style - and he does it all live. All the tracks on the CD are improvised on the spot and were recorded with no overdubs, using one guitar and guitar loops done on the fly. In fact, the only non-guitar generated sounds on the CD are the drum programs, which were done live and on the fly as well. So, what you hear on the recording is exactly what you would have heard if you were in the studio room when it was created and recorded.
