Plucked

Man On A String is the project name for the group headed up by guitarist Lyndell Wood, who also produced, engineered and wrote most of the tunes. Plucked features a blend of five rock vocal tracks and four instrumental guitar pieces, which are embellished by the presence of a number of musicians, including Mark Caldea (vocals and drums), Ian Chames (bass), Bob Hernandez (bass), David Haynes (drums and percussion), Joey Froman (keyboards) and Hubert Sakai (percussion). A number of guest musicians also contribute to the music, enhancing the no-frills rock compositions with horns, keyboards and percussion. Wood recorded Plucked at Hawaii's Westwood Studios, his own full-service recording facility which provided him with a professional recording environment.
