World-renowned guitar virtuoso Paul Gilbert has just released a new studio album for 2008 in collaboration with Freddie Nelson. The CD, entitled United States, contains ten tracks of high-energy hard rock, described as a cross between Queen and Mr. Big. You can definitely hear the Freddie Mercury influence in the vocal work of Mr. Nelson, and Paul is just Paul, rippin' and squealin' and shredding his way up and down the neck as always.
