Fanusa, from Italian guitarist Saro Tribastone, features four instrumental tracks in the New Flamenco style, and has a wide range of influences including Mediterranean flavors, Sicilian roots and Greek music. Tribastone is from Sicily, and his compositions are inspired by Flamenco music, and is influenced by various ethnic cultures.
The songs "Danza De La Luna Nueva" and the exciting title track have been co-composed with Nektarios Galanis, a talented bouzouki and violin player from Greece, who also played solo bouzouki on "Danza De La Luna Nueva". Currently Nektarios is playing with the world music group Nakaira. Tribastones other influences include Paco De Lucia, Tomatito, Ottmar Liebert, Strunz and Farah, Govi, Jesse Cook, Vicente Amigo, Ketama, Kiko Veneno, Manu Chao and Franco Battiato.
