Scott Jones is an incredible multi-instrumentalist and composer based out of St. Louis, Missouri. Jones has been a professional guitarist, composer and arranger for over 12 years and has been featured in
Keyboard Magazine, Recording Magazine and Music & Computers Magazine. The music of Scott Jones is about more than just guitar playing, though that is his primary instrument. The music you'll find on his debut recording Freedom is all about intense and meticulously crafted composition. To say this will be a landmark fusion release is an understatement. Jones embodies that magic often employed by the likes of Tribal Tech, Return to Forever, Spastic Ink, Herbie Hancock and the like, while not aping his heroes and allowing his own voice to shine. The CD comes enhanced with live video clips, over 70 minutes of bonus MP3's and a special Chops From Hell presentation. Freedom also features sax player Bill Elrod on four tracks.
