After a two year wait, guitarist Sterling Koch delivers his second solo acoustic album, the much anticipated follow-up to his "In The Spirit" CD - Acoustic Christmas. Baroque and Olde English styles are featured along with Sterling's trademark guitar virtuosity on a number of tracks. Acoustic Christmas opens with "Luke's Story" with Koch's young daughter Caitlin doing the narration of the birth of Christ from the Gospel of Luke over an acoustic rhythm. The remaining ten songs are in the Christian carole tradition, with eight instrumental pieces (including the original "Lullaby For A Savior") and two vocal numbers (including a cover of the Kathy Mattea and L. Brent Maher song "Somebody Talkin' About Jesus").
