Short Stories is a collection of rock instrumentals full of mood and color. Guitarist Steve Hunter talks about the music on the album, "I have always admired authors such as O. Henry and Edgar Allan Poe for their ability to tell an amazing tale in a very few words. I am also a big fan of the old Twilight Zone series for the same reason. With Short Stories I've tried to do something similar only with music. Most of the songs on the CD are three minutes or less in length but I wanted each one to tell its own little story. I also think of each piece as a "sound picture", projecting an aural image as well as telling a story. I hope you enjoy my collection of Short Stories".
