One of the best guitar albums in China since Powell Young's "2065 Flying Fingers" was recorded by axeman Yanliang Lee, entitled Superstar. Lee favors more contemporary arrangements, with plenty of space for blistering solos from his Les Paul, or other guitar du jour. The liner notes are almost completely in Chinese, so information is scarce, but you can amaze your friends with your own take on what's happening on this mostly instrumental release. The sound clips will have to suffice, so give Lee and his music a careful listen.
