Pédale d'Effet du Jour: Analog.Man Germanium Sun Face Fuzz
Or, as they say in Charlotte, "Stomp Box of the Day", into a saturating amp it sounds incredible.
Made byAnalog.Man
TypeDistortion, Fuzz
Power9V battery; 9V tip negative
The Analog.Man Sun Face is a high quality fuzz for seekers of the ultimate early fuzz face sound. The Analog.Man Sun Face is the standard 1960’s germanium circuit with a few tweaks to make it easier to use and sound better:
- True bypass on / off switch, no loss of tone when off. (same as original)
- Battery disconnected when INPUT cord removed (input is on the right).
- Positive ground - you can not share power with normal pedals. Isolated power is required. Power jack is normal polarity for ease of use.
- Volume Knob needs no explanation.
- Fuzz knob: Best to keep it up all the way or close, and use the VOLUME knob on your guitar or the CLEAN TRIMMER knob to control the amount of fuzz.
