Profile features guitarist and composer Michael Fath alone in the studio -- except for a number of guitars, namely electric, acoustic (both nylon string and steel string), and even includes his one and only lute track. A parallel solo project recorded during Fath's stint in the band Orphan, Profile was meant to display the 'other things' he was into at the time (around 1984). The CD features some very sophisticated electric guitar orchestrations along with many classical guitar and steel-string acoustic pieces. Profile was responsible for Fath's first 'big time' endorsement deal with Kramer Guitars.
