New Columns

Another large and knowledgeable group of guest columnists have contributed articles in June. We've got eleven altogether - nine returning columnists and two first-time columnists. First off is Mike Campese, G.I.T. graduate and instructor, with "Fresh New Sounds With Triads, Part 2". Swiss guitarist Dan Keller is back with his technique article "Understanding Japanese Scales" Chris Jurgensen returns with another column entitled "Harmony - Reaching For The Unreachable". Joining us for the first time is acoustic guitarist Rob Eberhard Young with "Recording The Acoustic Guitar" Mike Walsh also writes for Guitar Nine for the first time with his article, "Creating A Balanced Practice Schedule". Neo-classical guitarist Tom Hess has another column for us, "For Love Or Money". Guitarist Randy Ellefson is back with another technique column, "Double-Tracking Lead Guitars, Part 2". Indie marketing and promotions expert Tim Sweeney has contributed an article entitled "Wait! Before You Write Your New Marketing Plan..." We welcome back David Vincent Jones with his column "Critical Disdain". Guitarist Paul Nelson returns with "Ionian #5". Finally, music industry guru Christopher Knab returns with "How and Why Major Labels and Independent Labels Work Together".
