The Story
Shrapnel Records licensed and releasesd Spacewalk - "A Salute To Ace Frehley", with contributions by guitarists such as Marty Friedman, Scott Ian, Dimebag Darrell, Snake Sabo, Bruce Bouillet, Jeff Watson, Tracii Guns, GIlby Clarke and more. Vocalists lined up to add their two cents, including Sebastian Bach, Jason McMaster and Ron Young. Bassists included John Alderete and Frank Bello, while drumming chores were handled by Vinnie Paul and Scott Travis (Judas Priest), among others. Two standout tracks include the Dimebag instrumental "Fractured Mirror", with it's original arrangement, and a modern, funked-up version of "New York Groove". Norum also tears it up on "Cold Gin".
