Gibson Les Paul Goddess

This is a 2006 Gibson Les Paul Goddess. Only available from 2006-2008, this short-lived Les Paul was part of the Goddess series, which offered unique finishes (in this case Sky Burst), a slightly narrower 1 5/8“ nut width, streamlined controls, and a slim ‘60s-style neck profile carve.

Lightweight at 7lbs 8oz, tonewoods include a carved maple top, slim, weight-relieved Honduran mahogany body, and a mahogany neck capped by a bound Madagascar heather ebony fretboard. The 490R/498T humbucker pair feature distinctive chrome surrounds and transparent covers that highlight the blue coils. These pickups cover plenty of tonal ground. The Alnico II 490R neck pickup is smooth and clear, while the Alnico V 498T bridge humbucker is a high output powerhouse, snarling and cutting with a focused upper-midrange bite.
