The Gothic inlay is a exclusive inlay package, and the top and finish on this guitar is absolutely spectacular, with hints of blue rarely found in frostbite glow. The Gothic Private Stock guitars feature a gothic tracery window design up the fingerboard using ebony with mother of pearl purfling and stained curly maple. One of the most unique aspects of this design is the 3 dimensional effect that is created through a brilliant technique over at PRS. The ebony elements sit on top of the curly maple to create a 3D representation of a cathedral window - something PRS has never done before. This is paired with a Gargoyle headstock inlay over curly maple evoking a gargoyle perched atop an old cathedral outlined by the sky. The rest of the build features a lovely quilt maple top, a grey wash back with matching grainfill, smoked black hardware, and a 12th fret coopers hawk on the neck heel.
