Guitar style linked to players such as Tina S.
Based in Grigny, a few miles south of Paris, the company founded by Patrice Vigier has been in business since 1980, and its guitars have been endorsed by players ranging from Walter Trout to Wes Borland.
This Vigier Excalibur Ultra is in their Fire Burst finish, with a rosewood fretboard option. It features Vigier's 2011 non locking tremolo design that pivots on needles bearings, and sports EMG pickups in an HSH pickup configuration. The innovative Excalibur is a perfect example of modern build techniques on classic body styles, featuring the 90/10 carbon fiber neck, which forgoes a truss rod in favor of a thick slab of carbon fiber throughout the neck which remains stable at all times, never needing adjustment.
