Liona Boyd's Baroque Favourites were recorded with The English Chamber Orchestra, conducted by Andrew Davis, and feature timeless compositions by T. Albinoni, J.S. Bach, D. Cimarosa, A. Marcello, and A. Vivaldi. The CD opens with Bach's "Jesu Joy Of Man's Desiring" and doesn't let up until the final notes of Vivaldi's "Concerto In D Major". Baroque Favourites is a wonderful addition to a collector's works of these eighteenth and nineteenth century pieces.
