Encore! consists of pieces that were written, co-written or transcribed for the guitar by Liona Boyd as well as two new works ("Morning Sundance", "Chinatown") that were composed especially for her by Richard Fortin. "Shadows Of The Wind" is a piece Liona composed in memory of the great jazz guitarist Lenny Breau. Also include on Encore! is Chopin's "Prelude, Nocture & Waltz" and Liona's original "Latin Suite" ("Carnaval", "Ensueno", "Parranda"). Closing out the CD is Giacomo Puccini's "O Mio Babbino Caro".
